To The Bone
While working with material for Doug Bailey and Sara Navarro’s Ineligible project, archaeologist Tim Flohr Sørensen, included a set of animal bones from an excavation as his June 2019 exhibition experience called Insignificants. In this experiment, each month, Tim places an object or a constellation of objects in a glass case. His desire is to explore incidental encounters with objects that Tim had initially, intuitively considered insignificant, and to see what happens with his relations with the objects and his attitude to them when he frames the objects, puts them on display, and otherwise leaves them alone.
